Publications

Over the 2019–2025 period, the unit produced 263 publications, including 184 scientific articles in international journals and 79 conference papers. We also produced 7 books and 17 software packages. During this period, 11 PhD theses and 4 Habilitations to Supervise Research (HDRs) were successfully defended. We publish methodological research in some of the most prestigious international journals in the field, including probability journals (e.g., Stochastic Processes and their Applications, Probability Theory and Related Fields), statistics journals (The Annals of Statistics, Bernoulli), applied mathematics journals (International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control), control theory journals (Automatica, IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control), and general mathematics journals (Journal of the London Mathematical Society, Annales Henri Lebesgue). We also publish in leading conferences on statistical learning (COLT, ICML, NeurIPS), artificial intelligence (IJCAI), data and knowledge sciences (Knowledge-Based Systems, Scientific Data, Applied Ontology), and control theory (IFAC World Congress, IEEE Conference on Decision and Control). In addition, we publish interdisciplinary research at the interface between disciplines (e.g., in Ecological Informatics), as well as in leading journals in agriculture (e.g., Agricultural Systems, Computers and Electronics in Agriculture) and environmental sciences (Science of the Total Environment, Earth System Dynamics).
